YES....I know it isn't the New Year anymore, but since I haven't been able to post since last fall, it seemed a fitting time to do so.
The New Year never fails to bring round changes. Whether we make the resolutions to change ourselves or just the wonders of life change us. The biggest change that 2011 has wrought is our move. HomeSpun Photography now calls Sheridan Wyoming home. We have a spectacular view of the Big Horn Mountains to wake up to every morning. That's right the wonders of Yellowstone & Grand Tetons National Parks are my new backyard. WOO HOO!
All kidding aside I am eager to start discovering new pictorial gems in my new home state. That is if Spring ever decides to show her pretty face. We have such diverse weather here in Sheridan. Seriously we can get snow in the middle of summer. Granted it doesn't stick around very long, but imagine the scheduling nightmare for a natural lighting, non studio based photographer. Weather Bug is my new best friend!
The family is settling in well and I soon hope to get back in the field finding new clients to capture tomorrows memories for. Until then I hope you enjoy some of the candid moments I captured of my own chickadees.
